The block W3 will provide as a community building that would be open to all of its neighbours, with a variety of amenities, such as a café, gym studios, and a crèche.

The East and North facades mainly consist of aluminium rainscreen panels and protruding aluminium fins running both vertically and horizontally. The challenge was to work within the 80mm cladding zone and design a secret fixed fin system.

Scope of works:

CladUp Design was responsible for the design of:

• Aluminium rainscreen cladding
• Fin system and bracketry
• Parapet coping panels
• Structural calculations of bespoke fin system, rainscreen cladding, cill & coping panels.
